The sophisticated Surya incense holder, named after the Nepalese term for the sun, is specifically designed to burn rope incense by securing it to the metal hook. Rope incense is a traditional Nepalese practice, used for centuries. To produce each rope, a blend of aromatic powders is placed on a sheet of lokta paper, which is then hand-rolled. You can choose from the 3 available fragrances: Sandalwood - Meditation and tranquility; Juniper - Purification and rebirth; Patchouli - Energy and creativity.

Your 5-step ritual

Choose a quiet occasion to dedicate some time to yourself.

1- Having an intention is essential when performing a ceremony. Write it down on a piece of paper. 2- Opt for the incense that best suits your purpose. Prepare the place where you will light it, ensuring it is clean and pleasant.

3- Light the end of the incense and wait a moment before extinguishing the flame. Place the note with your intention under the plate and set the incense on top.

4- Find a comfortable position and close your eyes. You can sit in a meditative pose or simply in a chair. Focus on your goal and imagine the smoke clearing away obstacles as your goals come to fruition. You may conclude the ceremony by ringing a Tibetan bell.

5- Stay like this for a few minutes. Then, open your eyes and observe the clouds of smoke. Allow a sense of gratitude to fill you. We suggest repeating the ceremony for several consecutive days. Do not inhale the smoke directly. Ventilate after use.
