The chinotto is a citrus fruit that comes from afar, but finds its ideal home in Savona, a small coastal town on the Ligurian Riviera di Ponente. This plant has a fascinating history to discover and quickly became famous and sought-after. The chinotto is generous: from its abundant blossoms, highly fragrant extracts can be obtained from both leaves and peels. The scents and colors of the fruits vary according to the season and ripening, ranging from bright green to yellow and orange.
