A traditional Nepalese incense format made by hand-rolling powdered aromatic ingredients in lokta paper.

How to use

Use a suitable rope-incense holder. A Kamala holder can support a coiled rope or hold its wider end in the central hole; a Surya holder allows it to hang. Alternatively, use a suitable burner filled with ash or marble sand, keeping the lit incense away from the sides.

Light the tip and gently extinguish the flame, allowing the incense to smoulder. Follow the holder instructions.
